Also called E-methyl chloride propane (BMEC) etc. The MEP is an important organic raw material and intermediate. It has four main uses:
1. Synthesize Epoxy resin: This kind of resin has advantageous mechanical and electricity features. Moreover, this resin is greatly ultraviolet resistant and weatherproof. The actual application cycle can be 2-3 times longer, resist of high or low temperature, be fit for large foundry;
2. Synthesize the reactive thinner of Epoxy resin: The thinner can recede the viscosity of epoxy resin, remove the bubble in the resin, increase the permeability of the resin;
3. Synthesize crown ether: The crown ether can be used as phase transfer catalyst (PTC),but it's price is very high, the MEP could reduce the synthesis cost of crown ether;
4. Synthesize the stabilizer of heat-remember material. Above all, it can also be used to create glass fiber reinforced plastic, detonator, bond, dope, exchange resin, insulated products, fire retardant, paper wet strength agent, surface active agent etc.
